Poushmela is a rural festival in Bangladesh. It is held in the month of Poush in the Bengali calendar. Winter cakes and sweets are made and celebrations continue for several days.There are fairs, song and dance festivals and folk dramas.

Ans : We observe the Bangla New Year Day attending 'Baishakhi' fairs and musical events.We take part in boat races and enjoy different sports, merry -go - round and puppet dance. The artisans ans businessmen offer sweetss to their customers.
